How to make and send an ultrasonic wave?
I make and send an ultrasonic wave through an object and get back on the other side (not reflection), and finally I want to see the results and compare ... Can anyone tell me what tools are necessary for this? Maybe a generator of functions, two transducers, an amplifier and an oscilloscope ... correct?! thanks
I think that is correct. However, you may need a liquid medium, to have a good contact between the two transducers and its object. You must also ensure that the material of the object does not mitigate its too fast ultrasonic wave. Also, when we look at the oscilloscope, make sure you have the appropriate scale to view the output. Good Luck. Look under "Non-Destructive Testing" books.
